Like most small towns, ours has a local newspaper. Not a paper like the Times or The Examiner, but a small town specific paper. They deliver it a couple of times a week and it has tons of great information on happenings in our little area of the world. My favorite section has become the POLICE BLOTTER Here are some examples...
"Assault by Paunch:
10:20 p.m..A male was arrested after using his stomach to bump his girlfriend and grabbing her arm."
"Trespassing: 3:30 p.m. An elderly woman tried to enter a home where she believed her husband was living. When police dug into the matter they found out that the woman's husband had been dead for several years."
Things like this give me a little giggle, and makes me want to be a policewoman in this small town!

That have that sort of thing here, but instead of a newspaper, they've made it into a show called Reno 911...
