Like my friend Harlene, I am raising the white flag, and saying NO MORE TO CLEANING! (until the kids go back to school)! Instead, we spent the greatest day yesterday, exploring our surroundings. We found a beautiful rocky shore of the Green River, and the kids skipped rocks. Then came the handfuls of rocks, because they like the plunking sound, then pretty soon we cleared off the shore of the big boulders, because they make the biggest splash!
Isn't this what summer is about? Not really having a plan, but enjoying the small things in life? I hope so, because that is how my summer is shaping up!
